Opening the Hips can help promote flexibility in your hips and legs. There are many modifications offered in the poses to fit your needs, regardless if you are a beginner or someone who has been practicing Yoga for years.  Length: approximately 27 minutes

Audio:  Be Still & Breathe: Yoga for Mind-Body Rejuvenation ~ $4.95

Surrender and Discover the Ease.  Relax and rejuvenate the mind and body with Darlene as she guides you through restorative poses, a breathing technique, and meditation. This practice is appropriate for all levels.

Darlene begins this practice by guiding you through Lying Release. Starting a practice with this pose is an effective way of establishing a connection with the ground and with your breath. Lying Release is also helpful for clearing the mind. Darlene will then guide you through Reclining Bound Angle pose, a gentle hip stretch, and also an excellent way to relax. Following this pose, you will move into Legs Up The Wall pose. This pose is excellent for stress and fatigue, but it can also be helpful for conditions, such as, arthritis, insomnia, anxiety, PMS/menopause, among others.

Following these restorative poses, you can take some time to balance the energy in your body and calm your mind as Darlene explains the Alternate Nostril Breathing technique, step by step. This breathing technique can be helpful to improve your sleep and calm your nervous system. Alternate Nostril Breathing is a helpful breathing technique to do prior to meditation, which comes next! Move into a comfortable position as Darlene guides you through preparations and techniques for Meditation.
